The room pulsed with a strange energy, as if something was calling to her. Emily had delayed this day for far too long. Now, however, she felt a powerful urge.

She found a list tucked away in her grandmother’s old sewing box. "Learn to Tango." Emily laughed, a genuine, delighted sound. She'd always been a wallflower.

Within the hour, she was signing up for dance lessons. The thought of moving, of swaying, filled her with a sense of excitement she hadn’t felt in years. She couldn’t wait.
