The world felt crisp, clear. Eleanor woke before her alarm, a light feeling in her chest. She stretched, her limbs loose and ready. Today was the day she'd finally book that trip to Patagonia.

The travel agent’s office seemed bland, stuffy even. Eleanor, however, barely noticed, completely engrossed in the brochures of snow-capped mountains and turquoise lakes. She chose an itinerary with the most strenuous hikes, feeling an undeniable pull towards the physical challenge.

Later, exhausted but exhilarated after a long afternoon of planning, she found herself in a crowded cafe, sipping a strong espresso. A woman nearby, noticing her animated gestures, asked, "Are you…feeling it too?" The other woman described a shared anomaly – unexpected surges of stamina and a heightened sensitivity to their surroundings.
