Liam, a photographer, felt a cold sweat break out on his skin as he scrolled through the comments. Someone had tattooed his image of a lone tree on a mountain top. This person. This stranger. It felt like an intrusion.

He'd always guarded his work. He’d never thought it would come to this.

He kept glancing around the room. He felt…exposed. The windows, the door, everything seemed open to scrutiny. He abruptly closed the blinds, plunging the room into shadow. He needed to be alone. He needed to think, but his thoughts were a frantic jumble.
