Gemotions

The exhibition felt stifling, all the noise and lights grating on Eleanor's nerves. The news had come via a message. The woman kept repeating the news in her head. Her piece, "Urban Echoes," now permanently inked on someone's ribcage.

The gallery suddenly felt too small, too crowded. She felt a growing sensation of…unease. Her hands were ice cold. She backed away from the crowd, bumping into a table laden with wine glasses. She didn't even notice the spilling liquid. She needed to escape. She rushed out into the night, the cool air doing little to soothe the unsettling feeling that had taken root within her.
