When research validates or refutes unprompted recall, it attaches citation URLs to the claim and updates the verdict to correct or incorrect. To prevent the system from grading its own homework, previously discovered research claims that lack parametric recall are flagged as regrounded, preserving their gap status. Any existing human ruling override is strictly preserved, ensuring automated passes never overwrite manual editorial decisions.
