One thing I’ve also seen is that more users are tuning out. I usually won’t follow a clickbait title even if it’s from someone I normally trust. Except to sometimes go to the comments section and call them out for the clickbait.

It might be interesting to create a browser extension that uses AI to fill in the latent entity in any headline by reading the article. Maybe even rewriting clickbait titles into informative titles automatically, to spare us the attention drain of having to read the darn things.
