In the world of AI search engine optimization, or SEO, we define an entity in a very specific way. It is not the traditional tech definition of a person, place, or organization in a knowledge graph.

Instead, an entity is the absolute smallest, most basic thing a client wants to be visible for. It could be a specific product, a service, a platform, or a process.

We treat this entity as an anchor. Countless different queries and prompts will branch out from it, because people phrase their questions in so many different ways. By anchoring our strategy to the core entity itself, rather than to any single phrasing, we can handle the unpredictable way language models respond.

Ultimately, this entity is the smallest unit of visibility a client cares about, and it is the exact benchmark we use to measure success.
