Grounding snippets are the query-specific extractive text passages that search engines supply to an AI assistant to ground its generated responses in real-time facts without processing full webpages. DEJAN optimizes these passages using a Bayesian Content Optimizer that iteratively tests targeted structural and semantic hypotheses against an LLM re-ranker to maximize the page's likelihood of being selected and cited.
