The workflow and what each step returned for Algoroo.

An AI model that answers without searching describes a brand from its training data, and nothing in the answer is cited. For our public demo project, Algoroo, Google's Knowledge Graph returned a music album, OpenAI described a physics sandbox, and a Google model listed Penguin penalty tools that Algoroo does not offer. Of 22 facts the models recalled, research confirmed 9, and it found 2 more that no model recalled.

Five questions about Algoroo and what came back.

1. Entity Search: check the Knowledge Graph

Look up your brand and your main topics in Google's Knowledge Graph, the entity database behind knowledge panels. "Algoroo" returned 1 result, the music album "Algoroove Takes". "SEO" resolved to search engine optimization, and "SERP volatility" returned no entity at all.

Of four demo names, one resolves to the intended entity.

2. Association Probes: ask what the name means

A Brand to Entity probe asks each platform, with web search off, for ten things it associates with your brand. In run #299 Google listed SEO topics for "Algoroo", and OpenAI listed features of a 2D physics sandbox for classrooms. The longer owned name "Algoroo Google Algorithm Tracking Tool" returned SEO topics on both platforms.

The OpenAI answer describes a different product with a similar name.

3. Parametric Memory: rule on every fact

Parametric Memory asks each platform to recall everything it knows about the brand, one fact per line, and merges the lines into canonical facts. Grounded Validation then researches the brand with web search on. Facts the models recall that research could not confirm are marked unverified. Publish the true ones on your own pages and correct the wrong ones.

9 facts confirmed, 13 unverified, and 2 found by the research that no model recalled.

4. Treewalker: compare memory with search

Treewalker asks the same question in two sessions, one from memory and one with Google Search. In the memory session it also follows the words the model nearly chose. For the top 10 products of algoroo.com, the memory session listed 9 penalty, Penguin and Panda items across 4 of 5 runs. The search session listed none of them, and 4 of its items named the "roo" metric.

Memory adds penalty tools; search adds the "roo" metric and more volatility terms.

5. Measuring Relevance: test each topic

Ask each platform many times whether it would recommend your brand for each topic, and count the "yes" answers. In run #301, Algoroo scored 88.3% across 61 entities. 44 entities got "yes" in all 20 answers, and "backlink analysis" and "backlink profiles" got 0 of 20. A 0% topic is either outside your market or a topic your pages have not claimed.

Backlink analysis and backlink profiles got 0 yes answers out of 20.

6. Visibility Tracking: measure memory-only answers

Turn on Parametric Tracking in Tracking Settings. Every run then also asks each platform the tracked questions with web search off, the Dashboard adds a Parametric Visibility chart, and the Showing switch on the Mentions, Context, Brand Perception and Responses sub-tabs flips them between Grounded and Parametric. In the demo, the memory-only Mention Share was 0.54% after 15 rounds, to 26 October 2026. Repeat steps 2 to 5 after you publish the corrected facts and compare the runs.
