Win the AI citation for one page

Five tools take one topic where the tracked answers name your brand and cite other pages, find out why your page is missing, test edits until an AI ranker puts it first, and measure what changed.

Route map of the workflow: Visibility Tracking, Citation Mining, Grounding Inspector, Content Optimizer and Pages, each with its demo result.
The workflow and what each step returned for the algoroo.com homepage.

On our public demo project the tracked answers about "SERP volatility" named Algoroo in 2.9% of brand mentions and cited algoroo.com in 0.1% of citations, to 26 October 2026. Citation Mining showed that Google cited no algoroo.com page for "rank volatility", and none of the 24 pages OpenAI got back was on algoroo.com. A Content Optimizer run moved the homepage from 8th to 1st with an AI ranker in three rounds, and in the 14 days after the edit went live, 61 tracked answers cited the homepage, against 3 in the 14 days before.

Visibility Tracking is a test, not a measure of demand. It asks each platform the same questions on a schedule to see whether your work changes the answers. It does not show how many people ask those questions.

1. Visibility Tracking: pick a named-but-not-cited topic

On the Entities sub-tab, compare Mentions with Cites for each entity. A topic where your brand is named and your pages are not cited already has the AI answers on your side; the missing part is a page they can cite. In the demo, "Detection of Google algorithm updates" named Algoroo in 8.1% of brand mentions and cited algoroo.com in 0.0% of citations, to 26 October 2026.

2. Citation Mining: see what the answers read

Run the topic as prompts with web search on. Citation Mining stores the pages each answer cited, the searches it ran, and for OpenAI and Anthropic the pages it got back and skipped. In run #11615, Google searched "rank volatility" as an options-trading term and cited 7 pages about options. OpenAI got 24 pages back and cited none. algoroo.com was not among them, and Google did not cite it, so the page first had to match the searches.

3. Grounding Inspector: open one answer

Run one query on one platform and read every source the answer received. For "SERP flux measurement tool", Google issued two searches, received 6 sources and named Algoroo fifth of eight tools. The line about Algoroo cited two AI answer pages, and no page on algoroo.com. If your URL is missing from the sources, the fix is retrieval; if it is there and not cited, the fix is the page.

4. Content Optimizer: test edits against an AI ranker

The Content Optimizer pulls the pages that compete for the query, ranks them with an AI ranker together with yours, and tests one edit per round. For "rank volatility" a Google ranker placed the homepage 8th of 9. Rounds 1 and 2 changed the snippet without moving it. Round 3 opened the page with a definition that uses the query and its synonyms, and the page moved to 1st.

5. Pages: measure the change

Apply the edit on the site and mark the run Implemented, or log the change on the Pages tab. The page view compares the same number of weeks on each side. For the homepage change of 10 October 2026, citing answers rose from 3 to 61 in 14 days. Their share fell from 5.00% to 3.23%, because the number of tracked answers grew from 60 to 1,888. In the 7 days on each side, Search Console (United States) showed an average position of 5.4 against 6.5 and 4 clicks against 7.

Where this workflow leads

A page that is read and still not cited is a content problem; a page that is never read needs the other sites that rank for the searches. The off-site workflow covers the second case, and the reporting workflow shows the change to the people who asked for it.
