Earn citations on the sites AI answers use
Six tools list the sites the tracked answers cite for your topics, write and check articles that link to you from those kinds of pages, and watch every link after it goes live.
Start at app.dejan.ai
When AI answers never read your page, the pages they do read are on other sites. In run #13054, Google cited 31 domains in 10 answers about algorithm trackers, semrush.com 8 times and algoroo.com 0 times. The Outreach Writer was then asked for 19 guest articles that link to algoroo.com and returned 14, and in none of them did the Checker pick the algoroo.com link as the placed one.
The workflow at a glance
| Step | Tool | Question it answers | Demo result |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Citation Mining | Which sites do the answers cite and skip? | 31 domains; algoroo.com 0 |
| 2 | Backlinks | Who links to those sites and to my rivals, and not to me? | Client [Standard] plan |
| 3 | Outreach | Can I place a link that reads as editorial? | 14 articles from 19 requested, all Undetected |
| 4 | Link Integration | Where does a link fit on a page? | 81 of 102 links on predicted anchors |
| 5 | Link Monitor | Is each placed link still there? | Weekly check by DejanBot |
| 6 | Visibility Tracking | Did the tracked answers change? | Same questions, next run |

1. Citation Mining: list the cited and skipped sites
The Domains sub-tab lists every site the answers cited, with counts per platform; the Unselected switch lists the sites OpenAI and Anthropic got back and skipped (Google does not report them). In run #11615, OpenAI got reddit.com back 104 times and cited it in none, while it cited status.search.google.com in 9 of 15 (60%).

2. Backlinks: find who links to them
Paste the cited domains into Link Lookup in Bulk mode, up to 1,000 at once, or run Competitor Gap to list the sites that link to your competitors and not to you. Every result is saved, so reopening it costs nothing. Backlinks is on Client [Standard] projects, and the demo project has no saved results.
3. Outreach: write articles where your link reads as editorial
Write an author brief and ban competitor domains in the co-link policy. The Writer drafts articles built around real references, and the Checker reads each one without being told which link was placed and names the one it thinks was. On 7 October 2026, four Writer runs requested 19 drafts for https://algoroo.com/. 14 became articles of 577 to 960 words, all Undetected.
4. Link Integration: put the link where links sit
Link Integration scores every word of a page for how likely it is to sit inside anchor text, and separately lists the money links and the regular links. Across five demo articles, 81 of the 102 links authors had placed sat inside a suggested anchor at the default 70% setting. Move your link onto a predicted anchor before the article goes to the publisher.
5. Link Monitor: watch every placement
Add each published page with the target and the expected anchor, or import a CSV. DejanBot reads robots.txt, checks each link every Monday and posts lost links to the notification bell. Only "Link missing" and "Page gone" raise an alarm; a site that blocks the bot shows as "Could not check".

6. Visibility Tracking: check the answers again
The tracked questions stay the same from run to run, so a change in which domains are cited, and whether algoroo.com is among them, shows on the Citations sub-tab and on the Dashboard after the articles go live.
Visibility Tracking is a test, not a measure of demand. It asks each platform the same questions on a schedule to see whether your work changes the answers. It does not show how many people ask those questions.
